Seed Shipments

I offer letter mail shipping starting at $6, this does NOT include tracking. By using this shipping method you agree that I will not be responsible for lost mail and or replacing orders that may not make it to you. Though rare, it can happen. If you’d like tracking and insurance for your order, please choose one of the Canada Post options at check out. If you choose letter mail shipping at checkout, your order will be sent in a padded mailer. I can safely fit 10 seed packets in my padded mailers. If you order more than 10 and still wish to have them sent via letter mail, I will send them in 2 separate mailers. 1-10 packets will be $6 shipping, 11-20 packets will be $12 shipping. There will be a checkbox agreeing to our shipping policy at checkout. Anything over 20 packets will automatically be sent in a small box via Canada Post and rates will generate at checkout. When shipping with the Canada Post rates, tracking and insurance are included. Due to the amount of emails I've received in the past asking where non-tracked orders are I will no longer respond to those emails, thank you for your understanding.

Dahlia Cutting Shipments

To ensure your dahlia cuttings arrive quickly and in the best possible condition, we are now shipping all dahlia cuttings via Purolator. We will no longer be using Canada Post for cuttings, as delivery times outside our province were often too slow for live plants.

Dahlia cutting sales will be held on Saturdays, starting in late April (weather dependent, sales may begin earlier if conditions allow). Orders placed during Saturday sales are already prepared and ready to go.

These orders will ship out the following Monday or Tuesday via Purolator. These are not pre-orders.

Important: Purolator does not deliver to P.O. boxes or some rural addresses. If you normally receive mail at a P.O. box or live in an area Purolator doesn’t service, please provide an alternate physical address (such as a home, business, or friend’s address) at checkout. Please ensure you provide a delivery address that Purolator services. If an address is entered that Purolator does not deliver to, the shipment may be transferred to Canada Post, which can significantly extend transit time and increase the risk of plant loss.

Our Shipping Policy has been updated to reflect that orders shipped to addresses requiring transfer to Canada Post are sent at the customer’s own risk. No refunds will be issued for cuttings that arrive damaged or non-viable due to extended transit times resulting from an unsupported delivery address.
